What we collect
Your account details (username, email, mobile number), the profile details you enter, your photos, and your Aadhaar number.
Why we collect it
To run this matrimony service: showing profiles, suggesting matches, stopping fake and duplicate profiles, and contacting you about your account.
Your Aadhaar number
We use your Aadhaar number only to check identity and to stop one person having two profiles. It is stored encrypted and is never shown to other members. Our team sees the last 4 digits. An admin can view the full number to compare it with your card, and every such view is recorded.
Who sees what
Only this Devanga service can see your profile; it isn't shared with our other community services. Your full name, parents' names, income, company, birth details, property and contact details stay hidden from other members. A member can see them by using a credit point from a paid plan to open your profile, even if you have not accepted an interest from them. We tell you each time this happens. If you set your profile to private, only people you have exchanged an interest with can open it. If you block someone, they can't. Our staff can see your details in order to review profiles and help you.
How we protect it
Your email, mobile number and Aadhaar number are stored encrypted, passwords are stored in a form that can't be read back, and staff actions on sensitive details are logged.
Your rights
You can ask us to correct your details, give you a copy, or delete your account and data, except for what the law requires us to keep. To do this, contact us below.
